Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Judan Safaris, we strive to provide flexibility and understanding to our valued clients while ensuring fairness in the event of cancellations. Please carefully review our cancellation and refund policy before making a reservation.

  1. Cancellation by Participants

a. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and will be effective on the date received by Judan Safaris.

b. The following cancellation fees will apply based on the notice period given before the safari start date:

  • More than 60 days before the safari start date: 10% of the total safari cost
  • 31 to 60 days before the safari start date: 25% of the total safari cost
  • 15 to 30 days before the safari start date: 50% of the total safari cost
  • 14 days or less before the safari start date: 100% of the total safari cost

c. If you fail to join the safari or arrive after the safari start date, no refunds will be provided for any unused portions of the safari.

  1. Refund Processing

a. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the initial booking. Depending on the payment provider, it may take several business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

b. In cases where a refund is agreed upon due to cancellations or changes made by participants or Judan Safaris, the refunded amount will be calculated based on the cancellation policy outlined above.

  1. Cancellation by Judan Safaris

a. In the unlikely event that Judan Safaris needs to cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund of all payments made to us.

b. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the safari itinerary if circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, road conditions, or wildlife behavior, may affect the safety and well-being of participants.

c. In cases where a safari is canceled by Judan Safaris, participants may choose to receive a full refund or transfer their booking to an alternative trip of equal value, as agreed upon with the client.

  1. Travel Insurance

a. We highly recommend that all safari participants have comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.

b. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that their travel insurance adequately covers their safari arrangements.

  1. Changes to Safari Bookings

a. Participants may request changes to their safari bookings, such as modifying the travel dates or the number of participants, subject to availability and approval by Judan Safaris.

b. Any additional costs resulting from changes to the safari booking will be communicated to the participant and must be paid in accordance with our payment terms.

  1. No-Show Policy

a. Participants who fail to join the safari on the scheduled start date without prior notification will be considered a “no-show,” and no refunds will be provided for any unused portions of the safari.

  1. Force Majeure

a. Judan Safaris shall not be held liable for any delays, alterations, or cancellations of safari arrangements caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, civil disturbances, or other circumstances beyond our control.

b. In such cases, our standard cancellation policy may still apply, and we will make every effort to assist participants in making alternative arrangements.
